This website (roamdrop.app) sets no cookies at all: none of ours, and none belonging to anyone else. There are no advertising cookies and no ad pixels. We do measure how many people reach the page and which link brought them, using PostHog configured so that nothing is written to your browser. How many people, rather than how many visits, is worked out on PostHog's servers from a one-way hash of your IP address, your browser details and a secret that changes daily; the hash cannot be reversed, the secret is destroyed once the day is counted, and your IP address is never stored. There is no consent banner because nothing is stored on your device to consent to. See the Privacy Policy for what is measured and why.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They’re often used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, or measure and target advertising.

2. Cookies we use on this website

Currently, none for tracking. This is a static marketing and legal site. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t embed third-party trackers, ad networks, or session-replay tools.

Strictly necessary: if your browser stores anything, it’s only what’s technically required to display the page. We don’t use it to profile you.
Analytics: none today.
Marketing / advertising: none.

The early-access form on our homepage doesn’t set a cookie — submitting it simply opens your email app so you can send us a message.

3. The RoamDrop app

The RoamDrop iPhone app is not a website and doesn’t use browser cookies. It stores your trips and documents locally on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. If this changes

If we add analytics or marketing technologies in the future, we’ll update this policy first and, where required (for example in the EEA and UK), ask for your consent and provide controls before any non-essential cookies are used.

5. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies anytime through your browser settings. Because we don’t rely on tracking cookies, doing so won’t break this site.
