How RoamDrop handles your data, at a glance
- Local-first today. Your trips, cards, notes and attached documents are stored on your iPhone in the current app, not on our servers.
- Recognition happens on your device. Reading dates, times, places and prices from screenshots and PDFs happens on your iPhone. The document is not uploaded anywhere to be read.
- Identity/payment guardrails. RoamDrop is not designed to process passports, IDs, visas or payment-card data; such inputs are blocked from recognition and handled manually.
- Limited external requests. Link previews fetch the URL you add, and map/route features may resolve place names through Apple MapKit. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- No account needed to start. You can plan a trip without signing up.
- No tracking on this site. This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
- Opt-in by design. Future features like Smart Import and cloud sync will have their own clear explanation before you use or enable them.
